RBL / Schoolhouse Program Description
Weekly Recap (Week 6)
We had a blast this week. We did our final split-group lessons in our instrument rooms on the band’s songs and, on Tuesday, got to welcome Patrick to the castle and he became an honorary band member for the day. The bands are doing well, there’s a bunch of work still to be done, but we are in great shape to get them ready for the December show.
Next week, and for all subsequent weeks, the bands will meet in the Loose Tooth (our full band studio) to really start hashing out the songs as full bands - this is when the magic really starts to happen. Soon we’ll also be recording vocals on the bands’s second song as well as naming the bands.
Thursday Band — The Thursday crew will not have practice next week (10.30) due to SH P/T conferences. Those rockers should be listening to their second song during the break as they will be tracking their vocals on 11.6. The better they know the song, the more they will get out of the experience.

Practice Materials
Though not required, if your rocker has the ability to practice at home it will certainly enrich this experience and make them better prepared for the final show. RBL will also supply all materials and will supplement per specific rocker’s needs.
Song Materials Folder - This folder includes lyrics, and lesson of various levels per instrument. It will be updated as we go, as songs are added, and as specific needs of rockers becomes apparent.

Final Performance
This rich experience will culminate with a live performance by the participating rockers at RBL's Holiday Show on Sunday, December 14 at The Verdi Club. Exact showtimes for our various bands won’t be decided until late November, but you can plan on your rocker being at this event from roughly 2:00 - 5:00. The show will last until about 8:00, you are absolutely welcome to stay for the duration, and it will be awesome.
Please note: because of the wide variety of abilities and experience within these players, and dependent on the final instrumentation of the bands, RBL staff may supplement the band’s playing to best support them and help them blow minds at their shows. They will still be playing and leading their groups, we just might add a little sonic assistance. There may be some resistance to this, but trust that your rockers will be playing a pro show with some seriously high level bands, and they will in the end be grateful for this support if it is needed. Eating it in front of 400 - 500 people is a great way to scare young rockers away from performing, we won’t let that happen.
